Al from Uke Hunt recently sent me a link to a German Ukulele YouTube Channel called VISIONSMagazin. The channel features ukulele sessions from the Kleinholz project (new ukulele videos every Monday). The concept is to ask various artists normally playing the guitar to play one of their songs on the ukulele.

Here are some sample videos from the channel in various styles and languages. Thanks to Al for finding this YouTube channel.

This week’s Ukulele World Tour has a certain summer feel and adds a new dialect to listen to with the German Viennese dialect from Austria.

Herman Vandecauter, Paulien and Alex invite us to Spain with their version of La Cucaracha. Meanwhile, David Owens from the US tells us about Paul Simon‘s fifty ways to leave your lover

Charles Song from Brazil will let you revise some classics while Amanda from Taiwan and Sparkly Rhythm will conclude this post with ukulele covers in Chinese and Thai.

In this week’s Ukulele World Tour, we’ll fly to Brazil where blog friend Marcelo has uncovered new ukulele artists.

We’ll then move from Germany to Canada for a bunch of ukulele songs in German before landing in Spain with a performance by Spanish ukulele blog friend Jordi.

If all this doesn’t make you suffer from jet lag, you’ll be able to reach the end of this post with an escape to Australia before coming back to mainland Europe with a song by TooSoft from France.
