Ukulele songs in Irish are extremely rare so I was really pleased when I found this post by Tony on the Uke Ireland blog mentioning a ukulele group from Belfast singing in Irish.

I never would have thought I’d see a Tom Waits song covered in Irish but here is Jockey Full of Bourbon as Gaeilge, played by a grand ukulele trio, Cait Ni Mhurchu, Holly Ni Ghrada and Georoid Mac Lochlainn !

I’d like to start this World Tour Post with a video of Bosko & Honey playing a tune called Earthquake together with Gensblue from Japan.

My thoughts go to the people of Japan at this very difficult time.

You can help Bosko and Honey support the Japan Disaster Appeal by buying their Ukulele Safari Compilation CD. Full details are available from their site.

Other nice instrumentals this week include Tears wet the Tumen River by Cho / Happy Bear from South-Korea. Thanks Jeff for mailing me about this Korean player.…
