In September this year, Marcelo, a luthier based in Campinas, in the state of São Paulo in Brazil has created a new ukulele blog in Portuguese. A recent convert to the ukulele, Marcelo is working at promoting the ukulele in Brazil.

We sell quite a lot of the lower cost productions ukuleles to Brazil. And we certainly appreciate our Brazilian customers.

My question is what kinds of music for the ukulele is most popular in Brazil? Is it Island music, or something else?

    Thanks…
