Italian ukulele ring shaker, Kiss and Drive

29 2010

Italians are a world renowned for their sense of style and this applies to the ukulele too.

This Italian ukulele ring shaker by Sebastiano Palma is the cutest thing!

Oh and while we are in Italy, I’ve just discovered Elisabetta Spada aka Kiss and Drive and she does have a few nice ukulele tracks.

Walk Your Dog by Kiss and Drive is one of them. ( Don’t be fooled by the beginning of the video featuring a guitar)

Just to let you know, you need to take down your videos,
I have that finger shaker for ukulele, trademarked, and a world patent. so what your doing is against the law.
    thanks.

Frank : the video featuring the *thing that cannot be named* is not mine, I found it freely available on YouTube.
I can therefore not take it down.
If you have a problem with this video, contact the person who uploaded the video to YouTube.
Your ring look very different from the one featured here too.

Uh…I don’t think there’s a law anywhere on the planet that you could use to force someone to take down a video for using a device that may violate your patent. Patent and copyright are two different things. And you’ll have a very tough time convincing a patent lawyer to sue a guy for building his own one-off of a device that retails for five bucks. Best of luck, though.

    Peter:
Besides the fact that Mr Rhythm Ring would very unlikely be able to sue anyone, his reaction will certainly not make people feel like purchasing any of his stuff.
He’s chosen a rather awkward advertising strategy I think.
